Rush Hour

I"ll introduce Rush Hour from 1998. This movie is a comedy action movie.  The director is the same person who directed the "Rush Hour" series, "The Family Man" and "Red Dragon".  His name is Brett Ratner. He has produced music videos for many artists, such as Madonna and Mariah Carey. The movie stars Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker. Jackie Chan made his Hollywood movie debut in this movie.

[Story]
 The movie is about a case where Chinese consul Han is daughter, Soo Yung is kidnapped in Los Angeles. Han calls the elite police Lee (Jackie Chan) from Hong Kong. He was a person who was an obstacle for the FBI doing the investigation. He was told to keep away from the investigation. James Carter (Chris Tucker) detective of the Los Angeles police department became his sidekick. They were hostile, but two people gradually united and they eventually find the mastermind behind the surprising.

This movie has two sequels, "Rush Hour 2" and "Rush Hour 3". In addition, Hiroyuki Sanada, the Japanese actor, appears as a villain in "Rush Hour 3". This movie a combination of Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker's talento. It is interesting and I like it. There is a drama version of this movie and it was broadcast by AXN channel in Japan. I have not seen it, but my brother says it seems to be interesting. Their action scenes are cool and I recommended it for people who like action movies. Let's check out the movie trailer.

The Mask

I''ll introduce The Mask (マスク） from 1994. This movie is a comedy movie. The director is the same person who directed "Eraser" and "The Scorpion King". His name is Chuck Russell. The movie stars Jim Carrey. He has appeared in other movies such as "Liar Liar", "Yes Man" and "Kick-Ass 2". His career has many interesting works and he is one of the actors I really like. The movie which I like in particular is this movie. It is the work which made Jim Carrey a celebrity at a bound.

[Story]
One day a bank clerk Stanley Ipkiss (Jim Carrey) is a fainthearted but good-natured person, meets a beautiful woman called Tina Carlyle (Cameron Dias) who is a singer. He thinks a lump of garbage is a person of drowning and jumps into the water to help. He picked up a strange wooden mask mixed in garbage on this occasion. An intense green tornado and transforms him into a super unconventional devil person whenever he attaches the mask to his face.

The comic "Mask" of the Dark Horse Comics is the original story for this movie. Cameron Diaz played the part of the heroine, Tina. Cameron Diaz made her movie debut in this movie. An eyeball and heart protrude and this movie expresses a comic-like overreaction. SFX was well-used and the picture was nominated for a Visual Effects Award at the Academy Awards. I think that Cameron Diaz of this movie is very pretty. I didn't know that her initial work was "The Mask". It was released before I was born and I was surprised. When I watched this movie and Stanley transformed himself  in the mask, and his heart and eyes protruded, it was interesting. It is interesting that he became another person when he transformed myself into a mask. He has a cute dog named Milo. In addition,  "Son of the Mask" came out 2005. In the sequel, the cast changed. This movie is interesting even if this I watch it many times, I recommended it. Let's check out the movie trailer.

Descendants

I"ll introduce the Disney Channel original movie "Descendants"  (ディセンダント）from 2015. Descendants in Japanese means (子孫）. This movie is a musical fantasy movie. The director is the same person who directed "High School Musical" and Michael Jackson's "This Is It". His name is Kenny Ortega. The movie stars Dove Cameron (Mal), Cameron Boyce (Carlos), Booboo Stewart (Jay) and Sofia Carson (Evie).

[Story]
The Disney villains have children and in this story they are in their teens. The children of four villains are the chief characters in this movie. Disney villains live at the barrier of magic in a covered lost island. One day four people of the Mal who it was isolated and they grew up on the island, were ordered to go to Hallande High School, where good people live. The son Ben of the Beast king invited them as the child of villains by chance.

Dove Cameron plays the part of the daughter Mal of Maleficent. She has appeared in the Disney Channel drama "Liv and Maddie". She plays a double role in a drama. She got engaged to an actor who played the part of her lover in a drama this year. She is pretty and sings a well. A lot of children of Disney villains from Disney fairy tales of appear, and this movie is interesting. This movie has lot of dance scenes and singing scenes. I love this movie.  I recommend it for a person who likes musical movies.  This movie will have a sequel made. Let's check out this movie trailer.

Night At The Museum

I'll introduce Night At The Museum (ナイトミュージアム) from 2006. This movie is a fantasy comedy. This movie director is  Shawn Levy. He is Night At The Museum series and "The Pink Panther" movie director. This movie stars Ben Stiller.  As well as being an actor, he is a scriptwriter and a director as well. He has appeared in other movies such as "Meet the Parents", "Tower Heist" and "The Secret Life of  Walter Mitty". In my opinion, the movies  he appears in are interesting and I loves them.  He is one of the actors whom I really like.

[Story] Larry (Ben Stiller), who is out of a job and living in New York knows that his ex-wife married again, and he is upset. Larry undertakes the work as a night watch security guard on the graveyard shift of the natural history museum to keep a bond with his beloved son Nikky, and begins the work at  midnight. One night, as an exhibit used magic, some statues came alive, gladiators such as and cowboys, and they jump out of their diorama and begin to fight.

This movie has two sequels, "Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian" and "Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb". I have seen all movies in the series. They are so interesting and I have seen then many times. Robin Wiliams who played the part of Theodore Roosevelt died in 2014, and I regretted it. When the exhibits such as dinosaurs moved, I thought it looked good. Because I had not been to a museum, I wanted to go to a museum after seeing this movie. This movie is a work that I recommend because it is really interesting. I think that music played in this movie is music grow tence. The music playing at the ending is ”SEPTEMBER” by Earth,Wind&Fire.




  

The Princess Diaries



I'll introduce The Princess Diaries (プリティ・プリンセス） from 2001. This movie director is the same person as the ”Pretty Woman” movie director. His name is Garry Marshall. This movie made from a plain more then 100 million dollars from the U.S, so it was made a hit. In this movie, she changes woman to a beautiful princess. This movie stars Anne Hathaway. She made her movie debut in this movie. She has appeared in other movies  such as "Les Miserables", "The Dark Knight Rises", and ”The Devil Wears Prada”.

[Story]

Mia's parents divorced when she was a baby, and Mia (Anne Hathaway) was the laughingstock of the class because her mother was an artist　and in high school, Mia was bumbling with shyness. One day, her grandmother on her father's side who she had not met, came to meet her from Europe. Her grandmother is her Majesty the Queen of the country Jenobia, and Mia is told that she is in succession to the throne. She is going to aband on succession to the throne once, but, at suggestion of the queen, she agrees to become princess.

This movie is a Cinderella story that made a common high school girl as its chief character. In addition, The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement, came out. Recently, a rumor has appeared of The Princess diaries 3. I watched this movie so I became Anne Hathaway's fan, because she is cute. I watched both 1 and 2 of this series. I reall love this movie. This movie is the movie which I wathched for the first time in an overseas  movie theater. I went with my brother and uncle.
